Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship is offering "Nonprofit Board Service: Getting Your Team Ready to Serve" on February 8-9, 2017 in New Orleans, LA. The course will help answer questions about nonprofit board service, provide the strategic and evaluation tools to assess the leadership experience, and discuss the talent, reputation, and community benefits of a board service program.

  • The fundamentals of nonprofit board leadership, including an overview of legal, fiduciary, and fundraising responsibilities for board members. Strategies and tips for communicating with stakeholders.

  • How to review and assess a nonprofit's 990 tax form.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive four (4) units which can be applied to a Certificate of Practice in Corporate Citizenship.
