(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) Chestnut Hill, MA – February 7, 2012 – There’s just one day left for companies to submit video entries and secure their spot on the ballot for Boston College’s 2012 International Corporate Citizenship Film Festival.

Conducted by the Carroll School of Management Center for Corporate Citizenship at Boston College, the Film Festival provides companies an opportunity to showcase how they’ve built awareness of their impact on the community and society through corporate citizenship. Now in its fourth year, the Film Festival demonstrates the power of video as a communication tool. More than 25,000 employees and partners viewed the videos in the 2011 Film Festival and voted for their favorite.   The deadline for submission of entries is Wednesday, February 8 at midnight EST. Public voting takes place on the Center for Corporate Citizenship website starting Tuesday, Feb. 14, and continues through March 3 to narrow the field to 10 finalists. Those 10 finalists will be reviewed by a panel of judges to select the winner.   The winner of the Film Festival will be announced during the 2012 International Corporate Citizenship Conference, March 25-27, in Phoenix. All 10 finalist videos will be available for viewing and will be showcased before the more than 600 conference attendees. More information on the Film Festival and submission details are available at BCCorporateCitizenship.org/FilmFestival.   The Carroll School of Management Center for Corporate Citizenship at Boston College is a membership-based research organization committed to helping business leverage its social, economic and human assets to ensure both its success and a more just and sustainable world.
