PYXERA Global CEO, Deirdre White, to Address Corporate Social Responsibility and Market Entry in New Geographies at U.S. Commercial Service’s 2014 Edition of Discover Global Markets in Atlanta

WASHINGTON, D.C., November 5, 2014 /3BL Media/On November 6, 2014, Deirdre White, CEO of PYXERA Global, will address how corporate social responsibility programs can accelerate a company’s market entry in new geographies while serving as the new model for corporate leadership development at the U.S. Commercial Service’s 2014 edition of Discover Global Markets in Atlanta, Georgia.  The U.S. Commercial Service is the export promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration.

White will join fellow panelists and international leaders Jennifer Ragland, International Government Relations and Public Affairs Director, The Coca-Cola Company, Shannon Penberthy, Associate Director Global Government Relations and Policy, Procter & Gamble, and Charlie Covert, Vice President, Client Solutions, UPS with moderator Dr. Cedric L. Suzman, Executive Vice President and Director of Programming, International Business Scholar, J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University.  This panel will outline different CSR program strategies and benefits for corporations considering leveraging CSR and leadership development programs in new markets. The panel will also explore the idea of “connected capitalism,” a concept similar to shared value, where companies engage across four platforms—communities, institutions, social challenges, and values.
