CINCINNATI, OH, February 15, 2017 /3BL Media/ - The Ohio Diversity Council is proud to announce Veteran Political Strategist, Donna Brazile, as their 2017 Ohio Women’s Conference keynote speaker. The conference will be held on May 9, 2017 at the University of Cincinnati. This annual event focuses on professional development, community, networking, entrepreneurship, and women’s health.

“We are excited to welcome Ms. Brazile to the Ohio Women’s Conference for the second time,” says Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chair of National Diversity Council. “She set a great standard when she joined us in 2011 and I am sure she will exceed our expectations this year as well. I hope the lessons she shares inspires all of our attendees to continue striving for success in their own career journey.”

The Ohio Women’s Conference will begin at 8:30 A.M. with registration and an open networking breakfast. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to enhance their professional skillsets by discussing topics such as “Secrets to Winning at Work,” “Getting to the Corner Office,” and “Networking Successfully.” The Top 20 Business Women in Ohio will also be recognized for their outstanding leadership and their ability to innovate and inspire others to succeed. Registration for the Ohio Women’s Conference is ongoing and can be completed at www.ohwomensconference.com.

Donna Brazile is Veteran Political Strategist, television political commentator, and author. Her passion for politics sprouted at the age of nine when she worked to elect a City Council candidate who promised to build a playground in her neighborhood.  Brazile attributes that candidate’s win to her future career in the political field. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology from Louisiana State University, she went on to make history as the first African-American to manage a presidential campaign. Ms. Brazile, in partnership with the Louisiana Recovery Board, also played an instrumental role in the full recovery of New Orleans following the devastation of hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. Her hard work has not gone unrecognized, as she is the recipient of many awards such as Oprah’s 20 Remarkable Visionaries, Washingtonian Magazine’s 100 Most Powerful Women, and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s highest award for political achievement.
