Pride and the Spirit of Christmas

Whirlpool Corp. employees brought gifts to Riverview Campus on Tuesday to place under the Angel Tree. The effort was done in partnership between Whirlpool Pride Network and CARES.

The floor around the lone Christmas tree in Whirlpool Corp.’s Riverview Atrium was littered with presents Tuesday, due to the efforts of several employees.

Whirlpool Pride Network – an employee resource group that operates within the appliance maker – worked in collaboration with the Society of Women Engineers and Community AIDS Resource & Education Services to support the charity known as Angel Tree by donating gifts to children that are affected by HIV in the Twin Cities and Kalamazoo area.
