Procter & Gamble and the EPA have signed an agreement to develop new tools to help the company reach its sustainability goals. The tools will guide improvements in manufacturing facilities and supply chains.

The Network for Business Sustainability has released a new report that finds small and medium enterprises, SMEs, create more than 80 percent of the new jobs in Canada every year—but also create 80 percent of Canadian industry’s harmful environmental impacts. The report concludes that SME managers are challenged by lack of time, finances, human resources, and expertise in implementing sustainability initiatives.

The Chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts International has been named among the 30 finalists for CR magazine’s Responsible CEO of the Year Award. Jim Murren is the only CEO noted in the hospitality and entertainment sector.
