The Stevie® Awards for Women in Business are the world's top awards for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. Winners will be announced in New York on Nov. 13. Ramos is a top contender for "Maverick of the Year" for leading global, multi-industry education on the changing regulatory landscape in supply chain disclosure for C-Suite and internal champions of the world's largest brands.

As Chief Business Officer, Ramos is guiding an expert global solutions team specialized in Conflict Minerals, Forced Labor/Anti-Slavery, Anti-Corruption, Restricted (Chemical) Substances and Sustainability.  This team has provided more than 30,000 viewers with educational white papers, webinars, video on demand, research analytics and info-graphics on the regulatory requirements, trends and technologies impacting the Electronics, Retail/Apparel, Automotive, Aerospace, Oil & Gas and industrial manufacturing industries to enable global organizations to comply with the law, minimize operational and brand risk, and improve efficiency.

“Lina is truly a maverick because she deftly led an aggressive and important campaign in helping industries understand the risks and opportunities around supply chain transparency.  Source Intelligence is fortunate to have an executive of this caliber, with such a go-to and can-do spirit,” said Jess Kraus, Chief Executive Officer of Source Intelligence. “Lina truly helped hundreds of industries as well as further established our brand as a leading global solution.”

Ramos brings more than 25 years of P&L responsibility at Fortune 500 and privately held ventures domestic and abroad. Expert at building technology-driven companies into profitable, high-growth businesses positioned for market leadership, Lina directs all global expansion, partnership and educational demand generation strategies. She has been involved with "green technology" since 1992, fueling a life-long passion for environmental sustainability. Prior to dedicating herself to venture-backed companies, she worked at P&G (USA & Intl.), Booz Allen Sales Estimating System, and Monsanto, reporting directly to the CEO. Lina earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and serves as a Drucker School female mentor.

More than 1,400 entries were submitted this year by organizations and individuals around the world for consideration in more than 90 categories including Maverick of the Year, Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women-Run Workplace of the Year.
