Southwest has raised more than $600,000 for Ronald McDonald Charities this year at the 27th annual LUV Classic charity golf tournament. Employees of Southwest and Air Tran joined sponsors in adding to the $13 million the airline has donated to the MacDonald’s charity initiative since 1985.

3,600 employees of Campbell’s Soup have completed the company’s annual “Make a Difference Week of service, working on 90 volunteer projects across the U.S and Canada. The results include 4,500 service hours and $40,000 in grants to local non-profits.

Damco, a logistics provider, has won the Supply Chain Sustainability Award for excellence in showcasing customer sustainability results. The award was given at the SCM Logistics World Conference, and is the second in a row for Damco, following last year’s Supply Chain Best Partnership Award.
