Lynanne Kunkel believes you don't have to be perfect to be excellent.
"A former colleague of mine years ago told me that, and I gave up perfection a long time ago," Kunkel said.
That is how she manages to balance a demanding career with being a wife, mother of five children and active volunteer in her community. "I know what's important to me, and I spend my time on the things that matter most to me. That relieves me of pressure and guilt," she said. Kunkel, 47, is Whirlpool's vice president, Global Talent Development & HR, Asia.
"I'm responsible for all human resources functions for our Asia region, and for attracting, engaging and developing great people to be part of Whirlpool's global talent pool," she said.
