Sprint will support the Roetheli Lil’ Red Foundation as it donates $4 from every DVD of the William Hoy story it sells to the National Association of the Deaf. Hoy was the legendary deaf baseball player who became one of the best baseball players at the turn of the 20th century. The Roetheli Lil’ Red Foundation funded production of the “I See the Crowd Roar” documentary by Diplomat Entertainment.

The WE Project is starting a new chapter in India to promote dialogue between workers and managers for social equality. The WE Project is an initiative of Tchibo, a coffee and consumer goods retailer based in Germany and a Social Accountability International Corporate Program member that has operated WE Project units in Bangladesh, China, and Thailand for the last five years.

Adamus Resources Limited, a mining company in western Ghana, has completed the training of 188 youth. In collaboration with the Australian High Commission, the company supported a nine-month program to train youth in computer and mobile phone repairs, electrical work, and appliance repairs. Each trainee also received start-up tools and three months paid apprenticeship.
