Students Showcase Their Innovative Concepts At Tech Expo in South Florida

Earrings as Bluetooth speakers, connected “smart” sneakers and homework help seekers were just a few of the student business concepts that starred in the recent Startup Tech Expo at Nova Middle School in South Florida.

The event was sponsored the Verizon Foundation which provided student teams with 20 Samsung tablets to develop their ideas and technologies, and the Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).
