Today’s inquisitive children are tomorrow’s scientists. That’s a vision shared by both Sanofi Pasteur and Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC), a non-profit organization and education partner of the National Park Service that focuses on the enjoyment and study of nature. So Sanofi Pasteur helped fund the program costs of PEEC’s SCI Q II, an intensive lab and field-based, week-long camp that encourages scientifically gifted middle- and high-school students. The camp, which includes classes instructed by regional university professors, helps participants explore and learn about their environment and also better understand various college and career opportunities in the sciences.
