Time Warner Cable is deeply invested in diversity and continues to demonstrate this in a variety of ways. It’s evident in our wide range of international programming, along with our Spanish-language channels, NY1 Noticias and TWC Deportes. We draw strength from our diverse workforce and the employee networks that celebrate our varied backgrounds. Although we’ve been recognized for our efforts, we know there’s plenty of work ahead. Our commitment is ongoing and it’s just one reason we attended and sponsored the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) Annual Conference at the Kansas City Convention Center.

NCLR is the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy agency in the United States; working to improve opportunities for Hispanic and Latino Americans. Through a network of nearly 300 affiliated community-based organizations, NCLR reaches millions of Hispanics and Latinos each year in 41 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. For more information on NCLR and its goals and initiatives, click here.

TWC was a Diamond Sponsor of the 2015 NCLR Conference, which includes financial support, NCLR public service announcements in TWC markets and free Wi-Fi for those attending the convention. This collaborative effort across different TWC business units is deeply gratifying and is just one of many examples of our commitment to diversity. We invite you to check out a brief video to learn about other ways TWC is making a positive impact on the Hispanic and Latino community. The video was also shown at the NCLR conference.

This year’s NCLR Conference took place from July 11-14 and also showcased The National Latino Family Expo. The Expo was free and open to the public and includes over 200 exhibitors, live entertainment and plenty of giveaways.

TWC is proud to have been a part of this wonderful opportunity for activists, community members and allies to join together for four days of celebrating and honoring Hispanic and Latino culture.
