São Paulo, Aug. 10, 2015 /3BL Media/ – Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will participate in the 2015 edition of Expo GreenBuilding Brazil (GBC), presenting solutions with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. The GreenBuilding Expo takes place at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, from August 11-13.

"We are leading our industry to a more sustainable world and are showing our customers, employees and shareholders that our future products will be equal to our legacy of efficient, reliable and sustainable solutions," says Danilo Alves, territory vice president for Brazil, HVAC and Transport of Ingersoll Rand. “Our team of specialists will available to show all differentials of our products”.

Expo attendees can visit at booth C15 at Transamerica Expo Center to see Trane’s latest innovations, including:

  • Trane® Sintesis™: Available in Brazil since June, the Trane Sintesis™ air-cooled chiller is energy efficient and quiet, and offers customers the choice of operating with a next generation, low GWP refrigerant -- DuPont™ Opteon® XP10 (R-513A) or with R-134a. It is one of the first products in the new Ingersoll Rand Ecowise™ portfolio, consisting of cutting-edge solutions designed to reduce the environmental impact, with low global warming potential and high efficiency operation.
  • TVR ™ LX: Another solution with focus on energy efficiency is the new generation of Trane DC Inverter VRF systems: the new TVR LX has the highest energy efficiency ratios (EER) and coefficient of performance (COP) among industry leaders.

TVR LX systems have the largest range of capacity among VRF systems in the market and can be applied as the main HVAC system in a building or can be combined with existing systems to meet application needs. TVR LX is ideal for residential buildings, condominiums and commercial buildings. They have several internet drivers that enable more efficient and comfortable operation, including an application for smartphones, with iOS and Android operating systems, all designed to maximize user comfort.

  • Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Type III: The EPD type III confirms compliance with environmental requirements regarding the performance of liquid coolers, in accordance with strict certification requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

  • Trane Air-Fi™: Air-Fi wireless technology eliminates the need for wired building controls, allowing facilities to be completed faster and with less disruption to occupants in existing buildings. It also offers greater reliability, simplified installation and greater flexibility, respecting the changes in buildings spaces.

Trane Air-Fi is a reliable, flexible solution that liberates building owners from challenges associated with traditional wired control systems. Air-Fi also offers easy troubleshooting with efficient performance and cost savings over the life of the equipment.

These solutions align with the highest energy efficiency and sustainability requirements and demonstrate Ingersoll Rand’s Commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In September 2014, Ingersoll Rand made public its climate commitment to achieve a 50 percent reduction in greenhouse gas refrigerant footprint of our products by 2020, and incorporating alternatives with lower global warming potential across the company’s product portfolio by 2030; make a $500 million investment in product-related research and development over the next five years to fund the long-term reduction of GHG emissions; and a 35 percent reduction in greenhouse gas footprint of our own operations by 2020.
