CBRE’s global 2014 Urban Photographer of the Year (UPOTY) competition is now open! Now in its eighth year, the competition is expanding to include U.S. photographers. This year’s theme, “Cities at Work,” challenges entrants to capture the essence and reality of the working life of a city, with all its beauty and day-to-day routine. “The competition has grown to become a major event globally, capturing the imagination and successfully showcasing the skills of the international photography community. We are thrilled to expand the program this year and encourage even more photographers around the world, and particularly here in the United States, to participate and take the Cities at Work theme to new heights,” said Cal Frese, Chief Executive Officer, Americas.
