LONDON, June 10, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Good social responsibility in the mining can save an estimated $20 million per week in social risk mitigation. Creating a positive working relationship with all impacted stakeholders – civil society, local businesses & government has increased business benefits in achieving access to resources and various licences.

In his role as The Minister for The Commonwealth & Africa, Henry was the only minister to visit the Simandou mine in Guinea and has a great deal of experience on social responsibility in the extractives industry.

Henry Bellingham will bring a government perspective to the interactive and in-depth discussions taking place on 29-30 June, drawing on his experience as an active member of The All Party Parliamentarian Group for The Extractives Industry.

Joining Henry at The Responsible Extractives Summit will be Tom Albanese, The Vedanta Resources Chief Executive, Sir Mark Moody Stewart, Formerly the chairman at Shell and Charles Jeannes, CEO of Gold Corp.
Mr. Bellingham will also meet with senior social responsibility executives from ArcelorMittal, BG Group, BP, Anglo American, Schlumberger and many more companies that are serious about creating positive impacts in the communities where they operate.
