Mohawk Industries’ Glasgow, VA floor-covering plant garnered recognition in 2015 from the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors for its efforts toward sustainability. The company is continuing this by housing eight beehives on site. Junie Snider, a production manager for the Mohawk Group and a local beekeeper, is responsible for taking care of the bees. He says that the half million bees on site could potentially pollinate all of Glasgow.
