VMware Wins Corporate Responsibility Award

We’re proud to announce that VMware has won the Overall Excellence in Corporate Responsibility Award by the National CSR Awards. The National CSR Awards celebrate business excellence and innovation in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability across a broad range of disciplines including Carbon Impact, Community Development, Staff Welfare, Energy, Education and Leadership. The Awards are judged by a panel of twenty-four distinguished individuals, all who have experience in the many areas of a responsible business.

This award recognizes that VMware technology not only provides customers with a valuable return on their investment, but has had an incredible impact on the world. We have had a long-standing commitment to driving innovations that contribute to a net positive future and sustainable growth. Our shared mission is to leave ahead a better future – to put back more into the environment, society and global economy than we take.

Last year, we made a public commitment to this shared purpose and vision through our VMware Global Impact Report. The report shares VMware’s 2020 vision to serve as “a force for good,” outlining our sustainability roadmap and detailing the aspirations and goals we have established for ourselves across our products, our operations and our people.
