Republic Services is collecting teddy bears for donation in Bellevue, Washington, in cooperation with the Sammamish Chamber of Commerce. The teddy bears will be given to traumatized children in the local area. Before heading off to local police and fire personnel for donation, the teddy bears will be on display at the City of Sammamish’s holiday event, Very Merry Sammamish. Republic Services of Bellevue is creating Teddy Bear Lane that will lead to a blue recycling truck that children can climb aboard – the next best thing to Santa’s sleigh!
