BENTON HARBOR, Mich., October 5, 2016 /3BL Media/ — Whirlpool Corporation will showcase its award-winning, energy efficient Whirlpool brand laundry appliances in its booth at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Los Angeles Oct. 5-6.

The Whirlpool Corporation booth will include two sizes of Whirlpool brand ventless dryers as well as companion washers, suited for a variety of residences from large single-family homes to multifamily units. The Whirlpool® HybridCare™ Heat Pump Dryers have received numerous accolades since their debut, including multiple awards at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and certification from the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) in its new sustainability standards announced in June.

  • Whirlpool® 1.9 cu. ft. 24" Compact Washer: This compact washer installs virtually anywhere and offers features such as Detergent Dosing Aid, TumbleFresh™ Option, which helps prevent wrinkles from setting in, and a Quick Wash Cycle.
  • Whirlpool® 4.3 Cu. Ft. True Ventless Heat Pump Compact Dryer: This space-saving model debuted in North America in June 2016. It will be on the market in the U.S. later this year or early 2017. It is ideal for most multifamily dwellings, because it installs in more places and doesn’t require a wall output thanks to its ventless design. It also offers features like Quick Dry and Wrinkle Shield™.
  • Whirlpool® 4.2 cu. ft. Front Load Washer with Closet-Depth Fit*: A shallower depth provides a space-saving design, allowing flexible installation options. This front load washer, along with the HybridCare™ Heat Pump Dryer, received an International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 Innovation Award.
  • Whirlpool® 7.4 cu. ft. HybridCare™ Heat Pump Dryer: The ENERGY STAR® certified high-efficiency electric dryer installs in more places thanks to the HybridCare™ true ventless heat pump technology. With Advanced Moisture Sensing, three active built-in sensors read incoming and outgoing air. This large-capacity dryer received a 2016 CES Innovation Award and meets AHAM’s latest sustainability standards certification.

The Whirlpool Corporation booth also will feature a virtual tour on the ReNEWW House, the first lived in, fully-retrofitted net zero energy, water and waste home developed in partnership with Purdue University and Kohler Co. Built in the 1920s and located in West Lafayette, Indiana, the ReNEWW House is a three-year project intended to help shape the next generation of ultra-efficient homes.
