The event will be held Saturday, April 18, at Fox Studios and will recognize Hasbro Community Action Heroes who are making a difference in their local communities, and William Morris Endeavor (WME) for their commitment to youth and arts in communities around the world.

The block party will take place on the final day of National Volunteer Week and will serve as an opportunity for families across Los Angeles to demonstrate how they are joining the chorus of young voices saying “yes” to the call to serve. Many young celebrities including The Foster’s Ashley ArgotaGirl Meets World’s Rowan Blanchard, Corey Fogelmanis and August Maturo; Parenthood’s Tyree Brown and Xolo Maridueña; and Dog with a Blog’s Francesca Capaldi will join families at the Block Party to help amplify the call for kids to make their mark on the world through service. Charlize Theron will be in attendance to present generationOn’s Make Your Mark Award to Ariel Emanuel, WME Co-CEO, who will be accepting the honor on behalf of WME.

The block party will offer opportunities for attending families to engage in service activities that will benefit Los Angeles-area youth and will pay tribute to WME for its commitment to youth and arts in communities around the world.

“WME is honored to be recognized by generationOn, whose work aligns so closely with our own mission of empowering and supporting youth,” WME Co-CEOs Ariel Emanuel and Patrick Whitesell said. “generationOn and Points of Light’s commitment to engaging young people in the community is inspiring and we are excited to bring their exceptional programs into all of our partner schools.”

In recognition of the amazing work kids can do to benefit their communities, the generationOn event will also highlight and recognize ten Hasbro Community Action Heroes at the Block Party. These honorees, ages 6 to 17, will receive a $1,000 educational scholarship and a $500 grant to their selected non-profit. With diverse service projects throughout the country, these Hasbro Community Action Heroes help show that anyone can be a catalyst for change in society, regardless of age.
