Weyerhaeuser

About Weyerhaeuser

Founded in 1900, Weyerhaeuser is today one of the world's largest forest products companies. We employ thousands of people in four core businesses that are focused on growing and harvesting trees, building homes and making a range of forest products essential to everyday lives. We own or manage more than 20 million acres of timberlands in the United States, Canada, and Uruguay. We manage these timberlands on a sustainable basis in compliance with internationally recognized forestry standards. We are also one of the largest manufacturers of wood and cellulose fibers products, and we develop real estate, primarily as a builder of single-family homes. In 2012, we generated $7.1 billion in sales. We are listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index.
