It's time for the Social Tools Summit in San Francisco, Oct 27 - 28

This past May, I attended the Social Media Tools Summit in Boston. This event got me thinking about social media tools and organization in a new way. I was also able to get first-hand insight into how these tools are constantly improving and what is inspiring these developments. Well, October is almost here which means the San Francisco version of this conference is just weeks away, October 27 & 28!

I highly reccomend Social Tools Summit as it is truly different from all those other social media conferences. The focus is on the tools that support and help execute social media strategies. My favorite part? Attendees can explore the nitty gritty with vendors, meet the brains behind the tools and network with others facing similar challenges in social media.

I recently caught up with the team planning Social Tools Summit in San Francisco, October 27 - 28, and they were very excited about their fall event and the announcement of their keynote speaker.

The keynote speaker has just been announced for the upcoming Social Tools Summit next month (Oct 27-28th) in San Francisco at the prestigious Fairmont Hotel. Michael Brito, a leader in Social Media in Silicon Valley and the head of Social Strategy for WCG a W20 company, will deliver social media insights to the group of industry executives. Boston’s summit this spring brought together the top minds in social media  and was overwhelmingly well-received. This summit is shaping up be even bigger and better. An expanded 2 Day format with 10 sessions, a 90 minute Product Speedcase where sponsors get to showcase their newest social media tools and multiple great networking opportunities for the attendees.

The Social Tools Summit is targeted at executives and managers in social business, social media, marketing, public relations, corporate communications, sales, business development, and human resources. The content is relevant for both executives trying to ascertain the ROI of their social media investment, as well as those responsible for managing budgets and implementation initiatives.

The Social Tools Summit is like no other conference. In addition to product experts and speakers, there is a Trender Panel, or focus group of power users, who weigh in on their key needs. Further, the conference is made fun by gamefying the proceedings, with one lucky winner being awarded the "Social Genius" crystal trophy. This promises to be a do not-miss event for social media executives. We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco.
