3BL stands for triple bottom line. It was a phrase coined by author John Elkington, founder of the CSR think tank and consultancy SustainAbility, and refers to the social, economic, and environmental impact that a company has on its stakeholders. The popular term “People, Planet, Profit” is often used to capture the values of 3BL organizations.

theCSRfeed is 3BL Media’s proprietary distribution. theCSRfeed carries our clients’ news and content and reaches millions of professionals, consumers, journalists and media points. A range of methods is used employing the very latest Web 3.0 technologies.  Some aspects of theCSRfeed include:  social networking sites, bookmarking, video and photo sharing, online communities, major news aggregators, opt-in email distributions lists, our affiliate network and much more.

A campaign is a way that organizations group news and content that is related to a specific cause, initiative, issue or event. Campaigns typically contain multiple news items and may include press releases, videos, blogs, photos and more. The campaign is one way that an organization can tell its story around a particular cause or initiative.

We have structured our pricing so that organizations can upload and distribute unlimited content for one low subscription fee. This pricing method means that organizations don’t have to compromise their communications around their corporate social responsibility, sustainability and cause marketing initiatives. Organizations choose the length of their subscription from three to twelve months or more. Most organizations find 3BL Media's pricing saves them hundreds or even thousands of dollars over traditional newswires and other distribution services.

3BL Media does not charge fees based on the type of content or level of distribution. Our fees are all inclusive regardless of whether you wish to distribute a single press release or blog or a full blown multimedia campaign with dozens of different pieces of content. You can distribute as much of any type of content that you want during your subscription period.

You select if you would like your news content to appear on social media, bookmarking, and sharing sites; only on 3BL Media’s social networking sites such as Facebook, Linked IN and Twitter; or limited to more traditional distribution.

If you have a relationship with the bloggers that we reach, it is up to you to contact them. We respect the privacy of the bloggers, journalists and everyone we reach and do not sell, rent, or provide any of our distribution lists.

Social media sites by their very nature invite engagement from different points of view. Most social networking sites allow you to respond and post comments to foster dialogue. Additionally, most sites allow users to flag ‘inappropriate content, comments, or other users’.  By using the powerful toolset provided by 3BL Media our clients have the opportunity to engage not just their supporters but also influence their critics and those still undecided or forming an opinion.

3BL Media does not direct bloggers, journalists, or other media points about what to write.

3BL Media would be happy to introduce you to writers and producers who can help your organization create content for distribution through 3BL Media’s communication management portal.

3BL Media also offers organizations the opportunity to promote their CSR activities, their culture, their community engagement and philanthropic activities through its Focus Series. Reuters is a paid subscription service offered by Thomson Reuters. Subscribers to Reuters have access to Reuters Insider, their multimedia platform that carries 3BL Media’s content.
