May 23,2013 /3BL Media/ - Corporate Responsibility is the approach adopted by the VELUX Group in their efforts to put into practice the Model Company Objective, which has been part of the company’s foundation since 1965. In the Corporate Responsibility Report, the VELUX Group presents the many aspects of its corporate responsibility.

Here are some highlights:

Biggest investments ever
In 2012, two new products were unveiled – the new generation of roof windows and the completely new business area of VELUX Modular Skylights for commercial buildings. These two product lines represent the largest investments in the 70-year history of the Group.

Tomorrow’s buildings today
With the products the VELUX Group develops, the company plays its part in creating attractive homes with lower energy consumption. With its demo houses, the Group has shown that it is possible to optimise energy balance, environmental impact and indoor climate at one and the same time.

Towards zero accidents
New products involve new production equipment and processes. As a consequence, the VELUX Group has had an unsatisfactory increase in the number of work-related accidents. However, it will maintain its ambitious target of zero accidents.
