On June 29, a major storm impacted several states within AEP's service territory.  More than 660,000 AEP Ohio customers were affected and over 1.4 million customers across AEP's eastern service territory were without power.  AEP is working around the clock to restore service to customers as safely and quickly as possible.  Personnel dedicated to system repairs are working 16 hours a day.

If you are experiencing a power outage, please contact your local power company.  If your home phone doesn’t work, you can still report an outage on your cellular telephone.  Below are web site addresses for AEP customers:
