Utilizing the breadth and depth of our assets, we will be highlighting this effort on AOL.com and AOL Mail via the Daily Impact Unit and AOL Impact site. Original content around the event will also live on Huffington Post Impact and Engadget. AOL Impact is our corporate commitment to using all of our best-in-class assets to raise awareness for nonprofit organizations on a national scale, and providing our audience with the tools to take action on behalf of those nonprofits. To date we've provided more than 12 billion pro-bono impressions on behalf of 300 nonprofit partners.
The donation of the AOL Computer Lab also kicks off AOL's participation in the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign, a holiday awareness and fundraising campaign that brings together celebrities, media, and more than 60 corporate partners to ask holiday shoppers to "Give thanks for the healthy kids in your life, and give to those who are not."
Since 2007, AOL has contributed to St. Jude through in-kind promotions and donated ads on the AOL network, as well as donations from AOL users, AOL employees and company matching grants. Following today's unveiling of the AOL Mobile Computer Lab, patients and their families were also treated to a private screening of DreamWork's animated adventure, "Puss In Boots."
