(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) Northampton, MA - February 19, 2010 -3BL Media, the experts in corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability and cause marketing communications, today announced that one of the most-respected voices in CSR, Christine Arena, will join their editorial team for the launch of 3BL TV (Triple Bottom Line TV), a Web video channel scheduled to debut this month.

Christine is an award-winning author, syndicated blogger and corporate strategist whose books, The High-Purpose Company (Collins, 2007) and Cause for Success (New World Library, 2004), as well as her “Case in Point” blog, separate the strategies and companies that make a positive difference from those that don’t. Christine’s work appears on websites including The Christian Science Monitor, Global Post, Fast Company, Ethical Corporation, APEsphere and others. Her purpose is to inspire stakeholder activism and a greater level of transparency amongst America’s powerful corporations.

Regular segments to be produced by Christine for viewing on 3BL TV include:
  • “Case in Point” – A web video edition of her highly-regard blog, through which Christine will raise awareness of critical corporate responsibility-related issues, and prompt companies and viewers to take positive action.

  • “CSR Dialogue” – A series of in-depth interviews with the most provocative movers and shakers that are changing business now.

  • “Dairy of a Start-Up” – A vlog detailing Christine’s foray from blogger and strategist to world-changing entrepreneur, that will demonstrate the trials and tribulations related to starting a venture-financed high-purpose company and hopefully inspire others to follow their dreams.

“Now more than ever before, people need to understand the importance of investing in, buying from and otherwise supporting corporations that authentically embrace sustainable business models,” said Christine. “Since 3BL’s goal is to help facilitate this movement through the power of media, it makes perfect sense for us to collaborate. Our goals are tightly aligned.”

In discussing the reasons why she chose to partner with 3BL Media to produce these new web video segments, Christine commented, “In my mind there is no comparison between the engaging communications platform that 3BL Media provides and what’s presently offered by competitors in the socially responsible media space. 3BL’s combination of superior content, innovative multi-media and vast distribution potential truly stands apart.”
