Be Green Packaging's CEO, Ron Blitzer, proudly attended The Organic Center's 5th Annual Bay Area Celebration September 12th 2009. Be Green Packaging was also a Silver Sponsor of the event along with Whole Foods Market.  The day's events were held at the Numi Tea Garden in Oakland, CA and the Clif Bar headquarters in Berkeley, CA. Be Green's commitent to the organic farming industry resides in the compostable nature of the food service packaging that it manufactures.  Made primarily from the bulrush plant, Be Green's rich brown fiber is known for its earthy look, durable nature, and compostability.  Healthy soils are needed worldwide to grow nutrient rich foods.  Composting is a neccessary component to our nation's food cycle and vibrant population.  When companies like Be Green Packaging collaborate with industry change makers like Whole Foods, Clif Bar, Numi, O-Organics, Lundberg, Horizon and the many other folks in attendance at the event our nation's food quality has a better chance of improving.  Mission alignment makes anything possible.
