Financial institutions Westpac and Insurance Australia Group have scored high ratings for corporate social responsibility practices, as ranked by the FTSE4Good ESG Ratings. Westpac scored the highest possible index rating of five, while IAG was awarded a score of 4.8. Resources company BHP Billiton also scored high, at 4.4, along with construction group Mirvac. The FTSE4Good ESG Ratings evaluate 2,300 public companies globally, including supply chain, governance, and environmental issues in its scoring. 

A new study by IEG shows corporations and nonprofits how to build relevant partnerships through cause marketing strategies. The strategy white paper, “Improving Cause,” outlines several steps to effective partnership marketing initiatives. They include segmenting the audience, defining the corporation’s route to market, and finding areas of opportunity within partnerships.
