Marks & Spencer has introduced a range of new products containing sustainable palm oil, adding to its existing products already certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil in 2009. Over 30 types of biscuits now carry the label, and the company has committed to further extending the use of certified sustainable oil to all its products by 2015. Marks & Spencer works in conjunction with the World Wildlife Fund, which views palm oil plantations as one of the main causes of deforestation in Southeast Asia.

Benevity, creators of microdonation software, has launched Spark!, a service that helps companies engage employees through giving back. Spark! is a workplace giving solution that allows companies of all sizes to implement year-round employee giving with real-time corporate matching. Spark! and other Benevity platforms help companies build authentic, integrated, social responsibility initiatives to increase return on social and community investment.
