MasterCard and Nuance-Watson, a Singapore retailer, have teamed up to help women in Asia. MasterCard holders who buy at the 22 Nuance-Watson Perfumes and Cosmetics stores located in Changi Airport terminals will trigger a donation to the Singapore National Committee for UN Women. Beneficiaries of the year-long collaboration will support economic empowerment programs, and improve access to education and healthcare for women and girls in Asia. MasterCard’s CSR efforts throughout Asia/Pacific, Middle East, and Africa are focused on bettering the quality of life for women and children.

The United Kingdom has pledged to reduce that country’s greenhouse gas emissions by half by 2025. The “Carbon Budget,” a 50 percent cut across the years 2023 to 2027 compared with 1990 levels, will be codified into British law. Policies necessary to meet the new targets will be set out in October
