SAP is continuing to invest in immediate housing assistance and long-term economic development in Haiti, one year after the earthquake. SAP is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to provide shelter, and is working through the YY Haiti Social business Fund and the Grameen Creative Lab Haiti to support new social businesses. The first social business pilots include a cocoa processing factory and an eco-hotel, to be launched soon. To date, SAP employees have donated more than $500,000 dollars to non-profits working on Haitian relief efforts, an amount matched by SAP.

The annual Beyond Sport Awards are now open for entries. The awards are given to the best sport and development projects from around the world, and address 12 categories in the entire sporting spectrum of health, social inclusion, corporate and social responsibility, and philanthropy. The six winners in the Community Awards category will each receive $15,000 dollars as well as a Business Support Package which includes strategic consultancy, marketing and advertising support, and preferential rates on sporting fields of play. Judges include former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Prince Faisal Al Hussein of Jordan, and former South African football captain Lucas Radd-er-bee.
