SAP’s software, the BusinessObjects Sustainability Performance Management application, has been chosen by Atos to help that company achieve its sustainability goals. The solution will help Atos, an international IT services business, gather data from across the company about its sustainability performance. Atos also offers services for sustainability solutions from SAP to its customers worldwide.

The United Nations Children’s Fund is providing water, sanitation, and hygiene items for flood victims in Thailand. The products include soap, chlorine for water purification, hand-wash gel, and garbage bags, to help prevent the spread of communicable diseases. A $1.2 million budget will provide added relief to affected children and families in the areas of health, child protection, water supply and sanitation, hygiene promotion, and education. To date, the floods have claimed the lives of 77 children, mostly due to drowning.
