Hello, I’m Emily Polk, and these are your CSR Minute headlines for Friday, September 3rd:

GE’s Healthcare is now including Pluspack packaging, a polymer bottle, in the company’s Ecomagination campaign. Pluspack packaging meets GE’s Ecomagination criteria by improving workplace safety and convenience. PlusPack bottles are made of unbreakable polypropylene, eliminating the danger of glass breakage, and feature a metal-free, twist-off cap that is easy to open and avoids cuts from metal crimps.

A report published in Denmark records declining sales for bleach in 2009 in that country, and predicts a long-term declining market for the traditional cleaner. A majority of Danish consumers surveyed view bleach as a heavily polluting cleaning product which provokes allergies and provides an unhealthy indoor environment. The Bleach in Denmark Report provides a detailed analysis of the growing demand for sustainable and allergy-free home care products.
