Hello, I’m Emily Polk, and these are your CSR Minute headlines for Friday, December 17th:

The MasterCard Foundation, together with the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and YouthBuild International, has announced a $5.6 million partnership to support youth employment and reconstruction in Haiti. The partnership will fund the creation of education and skills centers in Haiti for more than 5,300 Haitian youth who will receive vocational training in construction. The MasterCard Foundation is an independent, private organization based in Toronto, and was established by MasterCard Worldwide.

For the second consecutive year, UPS has earned the top score in the consumer shipping sector on the annual “Climate Counts” scorecard. UPS also received the 9th highest score across all industries among the 143 ranked companies. Climate Counts ranks the world’s largest companies based on 22 criteria, and issues a shopping guide to help consumers support companies that take climate change seriously.
