Holistic Health Opportunities
Cooperative Whole Health Care: Can Windham County be a Pilot Project? - August 19
The first in a series of forums that explore cooperative models for delivering health care in a local community. The new Federal Health Care bill provides both OPT-OUTs for those who want to exercise their right to different health care choices and FINANCING forthose who want to create coops. Folks who take an INTEGRATIVE and holistic approach can create health care COOPS, health MINISTRIES, file individual EXEMPTIONS or encourage their states to adopt WHOLE health alternatives. Communities can come together, building on what is good and local to make full spectrum of health and wellness approaches available to all people regardless of income. Come learn and discuss how we can powerfully create organizations that reflect our own, rather than commercial insurance companies, health care choices, and still work together with the best of our local hospitals, community health centers and service organizations.
