CAMPAIGN: Community and Education


Each year, Chrysler Group volunteers contribute thousands of hours to make a positive difference in the communities where they live and work. During Detroit Partnership Day on March 31, 2012, nearly 200 Chrysler Group volunteers – some accompanied by their family and friends – joined with students from the University of Michigan and community groups to help beautify neighborhoods across Detroit.

Looking Ahead: Dressing for Success

During National Volunteer (April 15 – 21, 2012), Chrysler Group employees at Toledo North Assembly are collecting gently-worn business attire to help suit-up individuals in the process of getting back into the workforce. Items collected during the “Dress for Success” clothing drive will be distributed through Toledo Area Ministries' (www.tamohio.org) "Keeping It Together" program.

The “Dress for Success” clothing drive is the first major initiative of the Northwest Ohio Corporate Volunteer Council, a newly formed group comprised of Toledo-area companies that are looking to make volunteering a larger part of their employee engagement efforts. Members of the council include Chrysler Group LLC, UPS, the United Way Volunteer Center and Seymour and Associates.
