(3BL Media) Cincinnati, OH - May 9, 2012 - The City of Cincinnati announced today that North Avondale Montessori has reached its fundraising goal and received a grant from the Recyclebank Green Schools program, which awards schools grant money for unique student projects that will green their classrooms and communities. Representatives from the City, Recyclebank and Coca-Cola Live Positively presented the school with a check to fund its green school project, installing a greenhouse. The ceremony was held at North Avondale Montessori and included remarks from Larry Falkin, Director, Office of Environmental Quality, City of Cincinnati, Coca-Cola Live Positively, North Avondale Montessori and Recyclebank.

Schools across the country submitted green project proposals to Recyclebank® in order to participate in the Green Schools program. Recyclebank members donated their points to help fund the schools’ projects, and Recyclebank matched member point donations dollar-for-dollar.
