What is your organization’s appetite for risk? This was John Ebsary’s challenge when he joined CMHC. Drawing on his experience as CEO of a Credit Union and Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for a wealth management firm, John spent the last year creating an ERM policy that included a risk appetite statement. He will discuss the development process, how he secured board support for this initiative, and the key elements of CMHC’s risk appetite statement.
