Dan Henkle, senior vice president of Global Responsibility for Gap Inc., commented:

“We’re thrilled to be named the number one retailer for the second year in a row, and among the top ten companies on the 2010 100 Best Corporate Citizens List. Since Gap Inc.'s founding in 1969, we’ve been committed to doing what's right. While we’re proud of this acknowledgement, we know that there is always more to do; our commitment to the workers that make our products, and the environment in which they live and work will continue to be our top priority.”
