(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – January 21, 2010 – The zyOzy
Foundation, today announced a global initiative to raise much-needed
funds for Haitian relief.

Amy C. Wolff, an Indiana University graduate student specializing
in non-profit management, zyOzy collegiate advisory partner and song
composer, is calling upon choirs all over the world to help raise money by
video recording her composition “A Brighter Way,” an inspirational, musical
“call to action,” which, as Wolff states, “is a powerful statement of rising
up, serving and bringing hope to those who need it.”

Wolff conceived the idea of a global choir initiative after family
friends miraculously survived and escaped the deadly earthquake, which
struck Haiti last week. “My heart has broken for Haiti,” she continued. “I
listened to my dear friend describe the horror of thinking his wife and two
children had been lost in the earthquake. By a miracle, they all were found
alive. I’m dedicating this project to honor this family, specifically, the
eldest daughter, who loves and is inspired by the beauty of music.”

“Imagine choirs from all over the world coming together to sing for
Haiti – singing on behalf of those who cannot be heard. This will be a
powerful, transformational movement.”

All the choir’s vocals and videos will be combined into one video
piece that will air on February 14 across the internet on social media
outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and YouTube. Television
network pickup is also expected.

While soliciting the participation of choirs from across the globe,
Wolff is seeking corporate and individual donors to support the initiative
with a minimum goal of $30,000. Every cent will be used for Haiti
through CARE’s Earthquake Relief Fund. Anyone inspired by this
phenomenal project can make a donation via the Internet, on the Brighter
Way Haiti Choir Citizen Effect project page:
http://citizeneffect.org/projects/brighterwaychoir_haitirelief/.

Three major choirs already have signed on to participate: The Rural
Fund Childrens’ Choir of Uganda, Africa, the Crescendo Chorus of
Connecticut, and famed Voices of Eve ‘n Angels – the Voena Childrens’
Choir of California.

“The combination of music and investment in effective relief work
like CARE provides will enable the story of Haiti to continue,” Wolff
says, “we are committed to telling their story and the story of those
suffering in poverty around the world. It is our mission. It is our calling."
