Honda has launched a new environmental award program for its dealers in the U.S. The “Green Dealer” Leadership awards will be given to Honda and Acura dealers who reduce their environmental impact by a minimum 10 percent reduction in total energy use at their dealerships.
Bombardier Aerospace has announced the top companies for CSR initiatives in its supplier recognition program. The recipients for 2011 are Pratt and Whitney Canada, the 3M Company, and Aeronova Aerospace S.A.
Sears continues its Earth Day initiatives with two eco-friendly consumer programs. The company’s Kmart stores are accepting trade-ins of old electronics and giving out gift cards for the value of the product. Sears automotive customers can turn in old batteries in exchange for a Sears award card.
