Summary

Bringing together the famous Tennessee whiskey brand and one of the hottest bands in music, Jack Daniel's and Grammy Award-winning Zac Brown Band announced that they have teamed up to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for fans and to actively promote a campaign to encourage responsible drinking. The campaign will cut across consumer touchpoints to maximize impact, including a television spot, music and tour integration, as well as social media and in-store promotions.  In addition, a JD commemorative bottle program will support Camp Southern Ground, Brown's camp for children with special needs.

(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) LYNCHBURG, TN - August 25, 2011 - Bringing together the famous Tennessee whiskey brand and one of the hottest bands in music, Jack Daniel's and Grammy Award-winning Zac Brown Band announced that they have teamed up to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for fans. 

Officially kicking off at ZBB's upcoming sold-out two-night stand September 5th and 6th at Red Rocks inMorrison, CO., the partnership will include U.S. and Canada advertising and promotional activities, a dedicated responsibility campaign, and co-presenting tour support. It is the first major partnership between the famed distillery and a musical artist in more than a decade.  

"There is a natural affinity between Jack Daniel's friends and Zac Brown Band fans," said Jeff Arnett, Jack Daniel's Master Distiller.  "They are folks who embrace authentic values, love great music and the spirit of friendship.  We couldn't be happier to partner with ZBB."

Arnett promised that the Jack Daniel's/ZBB partnership would enhance the fan experience at concerts through the whiskey brand's presence at the famous pre-concert Zac Brown Band "Eat & Greets," the Jack Daniel's Experience - "Lynchburg on Wheels" – appearing at several Zac Brown Band branded food and music festivals, ticket giveaways and other activities. The partnership will also include a commemorative bottle program in support of Camp Southern Ground, Brown's camp for children with special needs.

Zac Brown Band is building a strong tradition for over-delivering to their fans. The band's major label double-platinum debut 'The Foundation,' was one of Billboard's Top 20 albums of 2009, while their sophomore release 'You Get What You Give' debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was recently certified platinum by the RIAA. Both albums collectively yielded a historic eight consecutive #1 singles. The band's honors and accolades include "Best New Artist" wins at both the 2010 Grammy Awards and the 2010 CMA Awards, and a 2009 "Top New Vocal Group" nod from the Academy of Country Music.

Arnett said that in conjunction with media and tour support, and other promotions, Jack Daniel's and ZBB have joined forces to launch and actively promote a campaign to encourage responsible drinking.
