Renewal is comprised of the charitable foundation, Endswell, the seed-capital investment firm, Renewal Partners Company, and the new investment fund, Renewal2 where he will contine to serve as Chairman .  In conjunction with his work at Renewal, Joel has also worked closely with Tides Canada Foundation and Hollyhock, a learning institute on Cortes Island, BC. Through his efforts with these entities, Joel has built a working model of whole portfolio activation of money to mission.

Joel also offers other areas of expertise in social purpose real estate, organic and local food systems, and supporting green city initiatives. Joel was recently named a Community Investment Fellow at Vancity Community Credit Union, Canada’s largest credit union.

Joel expressed his enthusiasm for this new role, “I'm proud to join such an esteemed financial institution as RSF Social Finance.
