As a part of the Ethical Fashion Week Berlin, the initiatives for sustainable cotton (INBW) will risk a look into the future with their ‘Change Your Cotton’ project. Based on scenarios developed during a ‘Visioning Workshop’, held in co-operation with Britain’s ‘Forum for the Future’ institute, the initiatives present a variety of very different and highly stimulating alternative outlooks for the future.

Monday, July 2, 2012 - 2:30pm

INBW’s intention is to raise awareness for the importance and significance of sustainably produced cotton – today and in the future. In joined efforts, the Aid by Trade Foundation with its initiative Cotton made in Africa, Fair Trade International with fairtrade certified cotton and other partners from the field of organic cotton are committed to establish the issue in the public mind. Therefore, the fashion and textile industries as well as politicians and consumers are addressed. INBW’s work is supported by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
