Kimberly-Clark has announced a focused initiative, “Water for Life,” as part of the company’s Sustainability 2015 strategy. Through the program, Kimberly-Clark will collaborate with NGOs to provide clean drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene education to communities around the world.
AT&T has announced its Aspire campaign to help reduce the dropout rate in American schools. Two dollars will be donated for every comment at the causes.com action page, plus an additional one dollar for every person the caller invites to take action. AT&T plans to give up to $90,000 dollars to America’s Promise Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to the dropout crisis.
The U.N. Foundation has partnered with the World Green Summit, the business, finance, and government forum, for the Rio+20 conference. The World Green Summit is a new, annual, high-level meeting committed to advancing sustainable development and a green economy.
