(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) NEW YORK, June 15, 2011 – Today across the country, more than 3,000 L’Oréal USA employees will roll up their sleeves to help those in need in their local communities by participating in the company’s annual Employee Volunteer Day. At the company’s facilities across the country, as well as the New York headquarters, employees will engage in more than 12,000 hours of community service in a single day. 

From North Little Rock, Arkansas to Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, L’Oréal USA employees will engage in a variety of volunteer initiatives including literacy projects with children, sorting food at local pantries, preparing food and serving the hungry and cleaning up local parks and environmental centers, among many others.
