The Petroleum Human Resources Council of Canada predicts a dramatic turnaround in the labour market. Last year’s layoffs of thousands of energy workers are projected to turn into a significant labour shortage by 2011. The Council also warns that more than 100,000 new workers may be needed in the next decade.

Cheryl Knight will share her organization’s predictions for the resource sector labour market, and the implications for businesses across the economy.
