What:

Farmers Market
The Green Living Show introduces for the first time, a collection of Toronto Farmers’ Market managers and vendors coming together in one place to create a unique Farmers Market for the Green Living Show. Vendors are able to sell to a larger audience and spread the word of the important work they are doing. Show goers can purchase organic and sustainable produce.

Farm Fresh Fare
18 stations of delectable offerings created by dynamic Producer/Chef partnerships. Tickets - $2 each, the dishes cost either 1 or 2 tickets.

Beef like you’ve not tasted it with YU Ranch/Le Select Bistro serving Texas longhorn wild beef

Kernal Peanuts. There’s a world shortage but they are plentiful in Ontario since they are grown in repurposed tobacco fields. Kernal Peanuts teams up with 100km Foods and Brockton General to produce peanut butter and toasted peanut and quinoa salad.

Only out of town restaurant - Owen Sound’s Rocky Raccoon Cafe

The new flour miller on the scene.  K2 Milling - an old mill in Tottenham, organic, artisanal - the go-to miller for high-end restaurants and caterers in Toronto

Vegan and gluten free - LPK’s Culinary Groove's VEGAN sweet potato donuts, as well as a lot of Vegan show vendors

Smell the (fresh) coffee - Merchants of Green coffee will roast coffee at the show.

With over 400 exhibits and a diverse selection of demonstrations, presentations and activities, the Green Living Show 2012 has something for the entire family.

FREE ENTRY when you bring e-waste for recycling courtesy of Samsung Electronics Canada.  In 2011, show visitors brought in over 40,000 lbs of e-waste.

                        Saturday, April 14 - 10 AM – 9 PM

Admission without e-waste is $15 (adult), Seniors $11 (65+) and Students $11 (13 – 17), Group Rate $10/person (15+ people), School Rates $6/ person (10+ students /teacher).
